My Feya Smartmedia PCMCIA reader works normally with the builtin Windows XP PCMCIA-ATA driver.
Sometimes I have to insert the card twice.
Card sold by ONT, controller chip Feiya smc 1205.

The Feya driver (device manager: ide controllers) must be removed.

mail: replace triple e by double e.

: : Reader will not work and Win2K drivers usless. No reply to emails from Feiya support. Can only assume they are a crap company. Users beware. Do not recommend anything as support non existent.
: : Only solution is to scrap a 6 month old card reader.

: FEIYA must be boycotted. I wrote several e-mails in the last 4 months and I never got an answer.
: NEVER BY THEIR USELESS POOR PRODUCTS! With Nvidea, Philips, Sandsik, Craetive, Vigor, ECS and a lot of other companys the support is good.
: Interference from the dealer in Holland even didn't help. The promised me 2 months ago, that within 2 weeks a download for new drivers would be available ??????????????????
: FEIYA = TRASH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
