I just put a new MB and Celeron 500 into my pc, I am currently having problems with my 3 button Logitech Serial Mouse. It was causing not loading correctly and the pointer would be frozen. If I remover the drive and reinstall, all would be OK till I rebooted and then either the driver would be gone, or it would be frozen again and I would have to repeat the proceedure. The Mouse is on Com 1 and no conflicts are present. The Board has a PS2 input as well so I removed the mouse and plugged in a PS2 mouse which the 98 detected and installed once again no conflicts all works good, except I get a beep when booting and now my CD Rom burner is timing out and getting ASPI errors. Somehow I know the mouse is causing all this. Anyone have any ideas?
