: I have a sidewinder 3D Pro and it worked fine under Win 95. I got a new MB and CPU and Win 98 and now it doesn't work. I thought it might be because i disabled the onboard sound from the MB and put in my old SB 16 but my Sidewinder gamepad and Thrustmaster T2 work fine. I have looked on Microsofts website but can't find a solution. I have aslo heard of other people having the same problems with Sidewinder Joysticks and Win 98. Does anyone have any ideas ??

Not me, I have a similar problem but I'm running an old Pentium 120 with a SB16 Compatable sound card. I also only have 24mb ram. Prehaps its me slow computer that causes the joystick to work? Anyone know if this could be?

Thanx, Snoop
