No you wont have to install drivers for the new board, before you stop using the old drive, open device manager and delete the system devices in one hit, the PC will freeze but just turn it off, when you boot it with the new board Windows will detect the new devices and configure them, you will only need to add any specific drivers from the driver disk( like an IDE or AGP mini port), no mess here at all. Sure if you just let the system detect and install new devices without removing the old ones, which is a common mistake made by novices, you will get a muddled registry which is the mess henry is probably on about, still now you how to do it properly.
