Want to put an old SeagateHDD into new machine. The old drive was used on a Windows for Workgroups machine; the new machine runs on Win 98. There is a HDD, FDD and CD on new machine, but only the flat cable from the CD has a free input slot half way along. When I put it there the machine can't see the CD or the second HDD. Ony need to copy across some documents and thought it would be quicker. Found jumper settings on old drive, but initially not set as per illustration. Do I need to set jumpers on primary and slave or just slave?
