My dad managed to 'kill' my hd on my other computer (i've been told the start up files are probably missing). When i start the comp up, i get the invalid system disk, replace the disk an then press any key - error (and no, there's no there's no disk in A:\, i might be pretty dumb when it comes to computers, but that's something i can handle ;))
I have another hd (6.5gb) and replaced the other one with this one. My computer starts up again without any problems... But my other hd was a 30gb one, and i know i can simply reformat it, but i really really don't wanna loose some off the stuff that's still on it. I've been told by some that i can just plug the 30gb hd in as a 2nd disk, but i have no idea how to do that (bios/jumpers/etc..) Any one who would be so kind to help me with this? Or have any other suggestions?
All help is appreciated! Thnx!
