One thing that you can try is to get a set off DOS 6.22 disks and format it that way. Put the first one in the a drive before turn on the power. When it boots and you work your way around to an a: prompt, use format c: /u This is the unconditional format command which tells DOS to format the using the brute force approach overriding all other considerations. If this dosen't work, then you will need to get a low format program from the drive manufactorer.
