You cant adjust partitions unless you buy a copy of Partititon Magic or similar software, if you want to split the drive using fdisk which comes with Windows you need to delete your current partition and then create new ones, you will loose all the data on your HDD doing this. As to the size of each partition, on larger drives its best to keep them under 8.0 GB for cluster size and fragmentation reasons but only if your using Win 98 or above. If you use NT or 2000 or XP the size is immaterial.
