Check your HDD configuration using FDISK. Type fdisk /status from Start->Run. Then you'll see if all 2Gb used by windowz (100% used) and if not you have to reconfigure your partition structure.
Also check if BIOS recognezed your disk as 2Gb.

P.S. There is no such a thing as Hard Disk driver, IDE driver/patch for motherboard, but that's different story.
