Hallo from sunny South Africa, Cape Town

I installed a 15 gig harddrive on a old PC. When I auto detected the new drive it only showed 8 gig (bios to old). Knowing the cylinders and the sectors I manually entered them. This gave me a 14 gig drive. It should have been 15 odd gigs. Then, clever as I am, partioned the 14 gig drive into two 7 gig drives. Now I struggle to get the original 15 odd gigs back in my new PC that support big drives.

In my new PC's bios the hd auto detects correct parameters. I removed the partitions and reformatted the drive but still no luck.

What must I do?

Andrew
