: I have recently loaded Red Hat 7 on my machine and quickly found it was way above my knowledge capabilities. Problem is I don't know how to remove it. Anyone help? Thanks.

Assuming you want to install windows:

Get a windows startup disk with fdisk, format and scandisk on it. If you don't have one get one that matches your windows version from:
http://www.bootdisk.com

Use fdisk to remove all partitions then repartition for compatibility with your windows version, then format the partition(s). After format run scandisk, THOROUGH SURFACE SCAN to find bad sectors (clusters) then install windows.

Hope this helps
