Installed a Maxtor Diamondmax 20G. Reset the BIOS so the splashscreen said LBA, UDMA 4, 20xxx. Partitioned drive for multiple OSs (to be booted by GAG). Linux and DOS5 loaded nicely. NT4 and OS/2 wouldn't. Did the driver update thing re Microsoft's Q197667 - all went well until it asked for the "Microsoft ATAPI Service Pack 4 IDE Driver Support Disk" Ah, say what ? Searched the NT4 and SP4 disk high and low - nix. Boot floppies didn't seem to have what NT was asking for either. Anyone know how to satisfy its insane desire ?
