The solution is quite simple though it took me some time to find it.

When running drivecopy you have the option to create diskettes or use a virtual floppy installation.

Run Drivecopy and select the make diskettes option. This will mean having two blank floppies.

Install the old hard disk on your system. Boot the system from the Floppies you have just made. After strt up the Drivecopy program will run. This is the same screen that you may have seen when you copied your drive.

Go to TOOLS and select HIDE/UNHIDE DRIVE. If required you can also set the Partition active if you wish.

Then reboot normslly.
