Use a start up floppy to boot to an A:> prompt type format C: and you should get no errors. There is no OS running at this time and the allocated stacks dont come into it. If it persists open the config.sys file on the floppy and look for the 'stacks=xx line, you can do two things either increase it to 50 or delete the line altogether since the defaults used will be fine.
