Hmmm.. I think the safest way to adress this predicament is to use the Maxtor software called Maxblast to uninstall the EZ-BIOS (You'll find that under Advanced options) and after the EZ-BIOS has been uninstalled you can use the same tool to restore sector 0, which should have been automatically backed up when you first installed the EZ-BIOS.
