Ok. I've been building computers for two years now, and I find that problem when transfering a used hard drive from one computer to another. What you need to do is:

1. Create a new boot floppy*
2. Restart your computer and boot from the disk
3. Get past the menu, and when you have the dos prompt which looks like this, C:>, then type:

C:> fdisk /mbr

Hit enter and wait a few seconds. Then remove floppy and restart.

*YOU MUST CREATE A NEW FLOPPY!
