: Installed a 2nd Maxtor drive (72004/AP)which has data that I want to retain. It's installed as a slave and the Maxtor PowerMax.exe program gives it a clean bill of health, as well as the primary drive. It's set up in the BIOS as a primary slave. The drive is not recognized, i.e., no drive letter in WIN 98SE. The drive was initially installed in a 486DX-33, OS WIN 3.11. I could probably get it going by using FDISK but then I would lose the data on it. Any suggestions as to what will get this thing working? Thanks . . .
