I have 2 SCSI drives in my other PC. One drive had WIN ME on it and the other had Win 2K. The ME drive had a virus on it that made the os not workable. So I reformatted the ME drive and tried to reboot. Now the other history I left out.
Initially this machine had one drive that had NT on it. I added the second drive that had ME on it so I could run both OS. Not so. I could boot off the ME drive OK but when I changed boot priority so that it booted off the NT drive it could the C drive volume could not be read and the drive was calling itself D.(NT files were on D). So it was useless for me. Thats when I installed Win 2K on the using the ME drive or so I thought. I did not remove any of the NT files from that drive and thats where 2K installed itself. So I could boot between 2K and ME. When I reformatted the ME drive windows 2K was also gone. When I booted off the me drive to try to reinstall, I got th NTDLR not found. If I changed boot to other drive, the bad NT format was there... no 2K.
