start tour PC using a Win boot floppy and get it to an A:> prompt, type 'fdisk' press return, delete in this order, logical drives first then extended partition then primary partition.
Now create a primary partition fdisk will want to use all the space so agree with it, before you quit fdisk make the partition active.
reboot with the floppy still in and get an A:> again,type 'format C:' press return and when its done you will have one drive, C: with all 4Gb on it.
