thats not really true. use a program like norton ghost and copy one drive to ther other. install the drive in a new pc and delete or uninstall any special drivers you have or before you transfer make it the primary in the computer you just copied and do that. than install it in the new pc and install any drivers that are needed for the new system. if your pc's have the same mb, drives , sound cards, etc. you don't even need to do that. i like doing this because i can ghost a drive with all programs pre-installed in about 5 min instead of going through the fdisk, format than install nightmare which can take all night
