: In fdisk created partition and formatted my 80 gig hard drive and when i got win98 loaded it showed i had only 2 gig hard drive .....what can i do to fix this??????????please help
What it sounds like you've done is created a FAT16 partition: they are limited to 2GIG.
You could create more my making an extended partition, then creating 2GIG logical drives within that. But unless you are using DOS6 and earlier in a dual boot: repartition the whole drive, removing the old one first, as FAT32.
You'll be glad to hear that assuming your BIOS can handle it FAT32's limit is ~2000GIG!
