I Agree with other posts here...the drive is failing. However, here is some tidbit for someone who may be in a tizzy because their drive has failed, is inaccessable and clicks. Happened to my wife's drive and I was able to recover her data with this trick???... Take it out of the PC...Put it in a Ziplock bag....Put it in the freezer for 2-3 hours...No kidding....Make it a secondary drive and you should have ~15 minutes of read time to recover data...."Not enough time??"...repeat process until you recover all your data. ..... Oh yea... you should be very selective in what directories you log using this process...Log the wrong one and its back in the Freezer for the hard-drive. During the emergency recovery focus on recovering what you really need before exploring or you will get the click back immediately regardless of temperature.

I know this sounds strange but guess what...It worked for me and it's now in my bag of last gasp emergency tricks.
