: Is there any possible way to remove the power-on password on IBM ThinkPads if the current password is lost?
: Is it also applicable for HDD password?

I can unlock almost any model of HDD and if the drive was locked in an IBM TP or DELL machine I can give you the original password (in plain text) that was used to lock it.

I have developed custom hardware to do this and you will need to send the drive to me (I am in the UK).

If you want to remove passwords from Thinkpads, see the URL I have listed.

Please send me email with details of the drive if you are interested.
