Update:
I received my Western Digitals 120Gb/8mb cache
hard drive yestersday. I am able to install the
drive and set up in my Dell 8200 using XP less
than 4 minutes. It is so easy I don't even
believe myself. Now I have 200Gb total HD
space.Thanks,
Chung
: : I want to add a 120Gb HDD for my Dell 8200(window XP). Is it possible? My first HDD is 80Gb. Is there any limit for total size of HDD.: : Thanks

: HDD size limits are complicated. You can GET support for any HDD you can buy, so get the one you want and deal with it from there.: If your PC sees the full 120 GB capacity then its limit is probably 128 (137) GB. If your PC DOES NOT see the full 120 GB then you can use an ATA/66 card to support HDDs up to 128 GB; A UDMA/33 card would be almost as fast, ATA/100 and ATA/133 NO FASTER than ATA/66 (HDD sustained data transfer rate is the limiting factor, NOT the card). If you want to use a 160 GB HDD beware that ATA/100 only supports 128 GB; ATA/133 has practically unlimited capacity support (for the next couple of years anyway).
: Good Luck,
