Put your start up floppy in the drive and boot up, when given the choice choose to start 'with' CD Ro support, you wil end up with an A:> promp,
put you Win 98 CD in its drive and type press enter, x is the letter of your CD drive, dont forget the :, it depends on how many partitions your HDD has if only one then your CD will temporarily be E: not D:, dont worry as to why it will resume to its pevious letter after installation,
You should see the CD light come on and get a prompt for the letter of that drive which we are assuming is E: at this prompt type press enter. You should now start the installation process, just follow the screen instructions.
NB dont type the in the above just whats between them. If you want to make sure of your CD letter watch the boot up with the floppy in it will end with a line saying the CD driver is loaded to the volume (drive letter), but if your'e not sure start with E and if you get an error message try F then G and so on until setuo starts.
