: I have an NTFS drive of 80GB under WinXP. I thought the limitation was for FAT32.

The NTFS file system can handle over 80GB!!! I have an 80GB ntfs partition on mine!
FAT32's limit is around 50-60GB. My 40GB FAT32 pertition works fine!!!

The 32GB limit is due to a jumper setting on the hard disk (labeled 32GB clip). This is to make it compatible with old motherboards. If u have an old motherboard u need an ide controller card to use the space above 32GB!
