: Thanks all: Afte blowing up my BIOS and getting a new one burnt with the latest SS Bios from ABIT, I managed to install NT on a 2Gb partition. Then I added the other 2Gb partition and installed Win98. I then split up the rest of the space between NTFS and FAT32 ... messy ... but it seems to be working ok.

Thanks for the good news. Glad to hear that you got the BIOS fixed. Seems like the 2 GB System partition is the way to go with NT4.Henry
