Hello
There is a simple way to see all 40GB in your PC.
(only with 98'WinShit)
1. You should't detect disc drive in your Bios, let it being make by your 98'WinShit
2. This HD can not be connected with others devices. Should bo alone primary or slave and set to Master drive

Example
Two HD: first eg. 20GB secound 40GB
In Bios
Primary Master 20HD
Primaty Slave eg CD-ROM or sth.
Secoundary Master NONE -- your HD 40GB
Secoundary Master NONO empty
Pa.
