I have an Acer Acros running on Windows 98. The video settings have been screwed up such that the monitor display is useless for doing anything in Windows. I have tried to boot up using a diagnostic disk in the FDD, but my computer will only boot up on the hard disk. I have configured the BIOS for boot on A first, then C. I tried the configuration "boot on A only" and I get an error message- "insert system disk" even though the disk is installed. I tried swapping out my FDD figuring it was maybe bad, but I get the same result. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
