: I have a problem.i was using win2000.
: and my second drive was ntFS/dynamic?
: i have backed up some important info onto this disc from my sys disc(FAT32).
: Now..i have flattened my sys disc and reinstalled wont reckognise my second disc because it is dynamic,or,ntFS.
: how do i change it back to fat 32 without losing my important back-up documents????
: can u help?

Changing it back will to fat32 will lose your data I'm afraid as it will need acomplete reformating.
The only way to retrive it is to reinstall win2000 on the first drive and access the data to back up and then reformat etc back to fat32.
Can you install win2000 on your second drive and back it up that way? If so great!Look also a a demo of partition magic to install on the second drive.
Problem is that to do either/or you'll need to have appropriate storage media to back up that data anyway.
