: I have an 8 gig primary master harddrive and an 20 gig secondary master harddrive. I Recently reformatted my C drive, installed Windows 98, then immediately installed XP on top ( since I knew of no way to install XP without DOS.) When I did, XP lost my second harddrive, which I had in 3 partitions. I can see the secondary master drive in disc manager: it shows me a 20 gig drive with only one of my partitions (6.3 gig). However, I can not access this harddrive under "my computer"- it isn't shown there! In disc manager, both drives show up in FAT32. What can I do to get XP to let me access all of my saved files on this second drive?! Please help!
: Thank you!

I lost my partitions recently,

Luckly i had Norton Utills on, booted up in Dos navigated to the Norton folder and used an undocumented switch.

NDD /rebuild

This worked a dream and found all partitions.

Or you could try fdisk.

FDISK /MBR
Command used to rewrite the Master Boot Record.

FDISK/CMBR
Recreate Master Boot Record on specified disk. Performs the same functions as FDISK /MBR except can be used on other disk drives

Have a look at:

scroll down to RECOVER download Windows9x MERC.ZIP

or

TRY resqpro Download

Hope this can help you
