I recently did a clean install of Win XP using NTFS format (as advised by a tech magazine).
I now want to uninstall it and have my win 98se and Win xp on the same hardrive (CD recording reasons).
I tried to reformat and had no luck-only formatted by data partition. I tried to use fdisk and I thought that I was in luck after reinstalling xp and reformatting the hardrive using fat (quick) during the process.
After reinstalling both I find that I have 3 windows directories is winxp, win 98 and winxp setup.
How can I rid myself of the setup directory?
Have I successfully reformatted the hardrive using the xp install format fat 32 or do I have to do it again?
