: Windows XP is a bit different, you boot using the XP CD (change your BIOS setting for first bot device) put the CD in the drive and start up, I wont go through all the options because XP makes it very clear what you can do with it, partition, format either Fat 32 or NTFS. Once you have XP running use disk manager from XP to create\delete or resize partitions and format any other drives you have.
