: I am actually now looking up through internet for drivers. But I managed to get my external lacie usb cd-rw working with the drivers already supplied by win2000 but can only write at x2. When connecting for the first time, setup as if you do not know which driver it is. Then go to that new peripherial, click "select new driver", go to manual install, then in the different classes of drivers choose "peripherials", then choose "microsoft" (it's a microsoft driver), and then choose LaCie Hard Drive. Win2000 will tell you it may not be the correct driver, but install it anyway. After that it should work. Note: The UID it uses when registering the driver in the registry has the same number as the one provided by LaCie for Win98.

: Hope it's any use,

: Alan.
