SOLVED!! I had the same DMI POOLING error. It was resolved by the following.

These days everyone seems to be upgrading thier PC's with larger harddrives. Unfortunatly some PC's do not support these large harddrives directly (via BIOS). So before you can use the drive you must first load a BIOS extention program that normally loads into memory BEFORE you restore, and AFTER the drive is restored. Failure to do this will result in your machine HANGING at the DMI POOLING message. Your large harddrive should have come with a program (EZ-BIOS, etc) to help you with this.

: Try taking the floppy out of the disk drive. these days, not all disks will give you the "insert boot disk" if it is a non bootable disk.
