I have a Maxtor DiamondMax 80 hard drive, and during the installation progress the MaxBlast software said that my current (Award) BIOS doesn't fully support my drive. It also asked if I wanted to install EZ-BIOS. I answered no, and now I can only use that 32GB that Award BIOSes support.

What I'm wondering now, is that does the EZ-BIOS replace my current Award BIOS or does it just install some drivers in my machine so that my drive will work? I'm asking this because in my system (HP Brio BA600) it's _very_ important to update with a correct BIOS. So, is it safe to install EZ-BIOS and get my drive full support? Thanks for reading
