i don't believe the restore disk is essential. most of the quick restore items are already on the hard drive. you will mainly be using quick restore to selectively restore programs and you do not the quick restore disk to do this

: I am searching for a restore disk for the compaq 7478 desktop. I am thinking of purchasing this unit, however, the person I am getting it from lost the disk. Any ideas as to how to obtain one?
