: I've formatted my C:\ and was trying to install windows me...when it prompt that my MHz is not enough to install windows me, so i restart the computer thinking to install windows 98....but it prompt "invalid system disk"...I've tried every single startup disk that i have but it just wouldn't work... what should i do??
You should go to another machine and create a clean boot disk and boot up to the menu that says Start Win with CD-Rom Support and so on you choose Start Win with CD-Rom Support this will load your CD-Rom Drivers to load Windows 98 I just had the same problem you did on this today I am 15 and I have a Compaq Deskpro 590. Now can I get some help on something does anyone have any hardware or harddrives or low level processors like Pentium 133 to 166 it would be greatly appreciated if someone could get back with me.
Thanks and God Bless,
Matt Inman
