After formatting 2gig harddrive, then loading Windows 98 2nd ed. I recieved windows protection error, Missing or unable to load vmm32.vxd file. NEC Ready 9701se computer. Tryed 5 times same results. Even traded vmm32.vxd from another computer. No scanner. And What I tought was wierd is that the file on a good load (different computer) is 920K, but the file is 919K on the computer with the error message. Even copied autoexec.bat file from a good load.
