I had the same problem and fixed it by doing this:

1. When memory check completes press del key on your keyboard to enter CMOS setup
2. Select IDE HDD auto detection
3. When it detects your hardrive you'll have to chose between 3 modes 1.Normal,2.LBA,3.Large; You must press 2 so LBA is selected
4. Press Esk key to skip detecting secondary drives and return to main menu
5. Press F10 key to save changes and exit
