I have a Via VT 82C691 motherboard, VT 82C586B(south)and VT 82C691 (north). I also have installed on it a graphic card - Intel 740, and I have a lot of problems with!
First, my PC freeze frecvently, and the only choice is "reset", and this isn't all! Before i740, I use a S3 Trio 3D 2X and it was working, slowly, but stable. Now, even this i740 has 8M video (S3 = 4M video) it doesn't justify the +4M. What can I do, so "no more freeze"?
