I have Win2000 Adv. Server installed on a PM585-LMR motherboard with 100Mhz dimms bank 0-64MB 1-32MB 2-32MB. It has 8MB onboard video card.
I installed the driver and set the res. to 800 X 600. Then I rebooted the machine. The driver appeared to work. I then rebooted the machine several times later without installing any software and now the screen is garbage.
I usually can tell right before it messes up because all of the sudden the start button doesn't work and then a little bit later the video messes up.
The only way I have been able to solve the problem is to rebbot the computer in safe mode remove the video card driver and then reinstall.
Does anyone know of a good stable driver for Win2000. I don't need the fastest or latest just the most stable.
Thanks :)
