: Help!

: I've got a computer running:
: Win2000
: ATI Xpert2000 Pro 32MB video card
: Creative Labs audigy card
: 256 MB PC133 Ram
: 40GB IBM DeskStar drive (7200rpm)
: FIC AZ11 Motherboard
: DirectX - Latest version. 8.1, I think?

: When I try to run any DVD player, particularly ATI Multimedia's DVD player, I get a message that says:

: Playback has failed due to one of the following problems:
: 1) Audio device is in use or not installed.
: 2) Display overlay is not available
: 3) Not enough video memory

: This only happens when I try to watch a DVD. Music videos and mp3s work absolutely fine. The computer only has two things running in the taskbar besides volume and disk detector: MSN Messenger and ATI's driver thingy.

: Can you help me out here? I'm working on this system for somebody and I don't know what to tell them.

Using the default Microsoft driver fixed the problem. I've got the All-In-Wonder128 and installed the 3279 version of the driver - and the dvd error came up. I haven't figured out why, but the workaround was to go back to the old driver... or was that boot into my second WinME partition (which crashed with the latest version of the driver.).
