Are the drivers you are using ones provided by the manufacturer of the card, or the PC?

My HP had the Geforce MX 2 drivers on my recovery CD which came with the machine, BUT... I also had an install CD which was nvidias. THAT one has full drivers on it (inc. 2000) which enables the full 'twinview' mode for TV/monitor outs.

Beware though. Even though these drivers enable this, I have had MANY problems using the non HP-specific drivers, such as crashes, icon and screen corruption, PLUS, the thing wouldn't even display TV at full size (a box about an inch in on all sides) which is extremely annoying.

How I got around the problems (mostly) check out http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/nvidia/nvdfaq.html#6 - for the TV out prob (bottom of page, TVTool)

and try to find a tool called GTUsetup.exe, which can tweak the cards settings
