: I want to add a video card to the PCI slot on my m741LMRT. How does one disable the on-board video and what other changes to the bios need to be done?
==========================
First: Go to Start/Settings/control panel/system/Device Manager and click on Video Adapter. Click on properties and DISABLE in this Profile.

Second: Load your new video drivers in a folder you can navigate to. When windows restarts you will have to show windows where the drivers for your new video card are.

Third: Turn off your computer. Turn off your monitor. Unplug your power plug (safety) and insert your new card in the AGP or PCI slot. Plug in your power plug, turn on your monitor, turn on your computer and follow the prompts for 'Windows has found a new device and will load the drivers for it'

Fourth: When prompted use the 'Have Disk' and show windows the folder you put your new video card driver in.

Good Luck
