I have amd athlon 700,
265 mb ram,
tnt2 model64
soudblaster live1024

had same problem as u guys,
but I managed to solve ALL my problems by simply switching the cards from the slots...
They're now in this order:
agp: VidCard
pci1(top): X
pci2: X
pci3: SndCard
pci4: X
pci5: NIC
pci6(bottom): X
