Yes but allows me to add that the problem is almost certainly the 82371 chip from Intel, its the major downfall of BX sets and requires a patch from Intel for it to enumerate devices correctly.Win 98 and above will enumerate it for basic ops ans USB support but not for additional I/O ports like an IDE channel. If you look on Intels site, follow the links for chipset drivers, the patch is called infinst_enu.exe or similar, and they have recently updated it. Hopefully it will help.
