Hello,
A friend of mine recently gave me an external Panasonic KXL-820an 20x cdrom for my laptop. Problem is he didn't have the driver disk. And I haven't had much luck in finding it. The install screen in windows calls it a Workbit - Ultraninja-16 this pcmica card is not like any I've ever seen. It has a switch to change it from cardbus to 16bit bus. (Just trying to give as much info as I can.) I found the Workbit web site, (Japan) they do have an english translation, but don't have the drivers. It appears that maybe they make the cards, and resell them as this card has Panasonic stamped on it. BTW everything on this cd-rom and card is in Japanes (sp) with the exception of a very few words. I'm not sure where it came from to start with. It is also possable that Sony uses (or used) the same card on some of their pcmcia cdroms. I really need some help I would love to get this thing working. Please email me with any help that you can give.
Thank You,
LeRoy (lfmiller1@netzero.net)
PS I'm in need of the windows 95 drivers thanks again.
