I'm running a Quantum ATA66 on a BE6 mobo and I've found (during a recent rebuild) that removing the highpoint SCSI/ATA66 drivers I get between 40 and 53 mb/sec even though my performance dialog box is telling me "Compatibility mode paging reduces overall performance" and "Drive C: is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system."
But when I use the drivers recommended by Abit all I get is 12 mb/sec and I get an optimal performance report.

Whats going on? Anyone got any ideas how I can get around this? Are there any generic SCSI/ATA66 drivers I can use instead?
