You can't get more than four devices wth IDE. You need to get a SCSI controller to add more drives. Your best bet is to convert your entire computer to SCSI! Baring that, get a not bootable SCSI controller. You can get an Adaptec AHA-1535 at hitechcafe.com for less than $20. This is an OEM controller and it comes without software. You will need to use install software for the 7800 series Adaptec chip. Other than that Iwould suggest an Adaptec 2906 controller if you want new card. BEST BUY sells them for $90.
